Unitary approach to Industrial Relations

Under unitary approach the values, goals, interests of employers and employees are considered as the same. It is composed of:
  • Mutual co-operation , individual treatment , team – work and shared goals
  • Work conflict is considered to be temporary  deviation
  • There is no ‘we – they’ feeling
This approach has two important implications:-
ü                    Conflict is perceived as an irrational activities
ü                    Trade unions are regarded as intruders into the organizations from outside.
