Sector corporations were established
by the government in order to control, coordinate and to supervise the
industrial enterprise. Sector corporations of Bangladesh evolved from the
‘Bangladesh Industrial Enterprise’ order in the 26th march, 1972.
Originally there were 11 sector corporation which is now lessen to 7. They
are:-
