Social action approach to Industrial Relations

The proponents of this theory are Margerison & Max Weber. Social action approach discusses the behavior of individual group within the organization. The assumptions of this approach are:-
(1)People are human beings, (2) People are members of informal small groups, (3)People have own personality level.
                                    

According to this theory, individual behavior, desire and social works are shaped by some social and psychological factors. They are exhibited in the diagram.
