Basic functions of management



The followings are acknowledged as basic functions of management:-

Planning: Defining goals, establishing strategy and developing sub plans to coordinate activities. For example: decision maker, plan generator

Organizing: Determining what needs to be done, how it will be done and who is to do it. For example: implement relationship among worker and optimum user of the resources.

Leading: Directing and motivating all involved parties and resolving conflicts. For example: determining people in any situation.

Controlling: Monitoring activities to ensure that they are accomplished as planned. For example: controlling plans and checking progress against plans.
