Codetermination is coposed of supervisory board, management board & works council.
Supervisory board: Supervisory board
is entrusted with the top level managerial functions. It is like the BOD. It
usually comprised of 11-5 members from both workers and shareholders.
Management board: management board is
entrusted with the responsibility to execute the plans, policies etc. set by
the supervisory board. It is composed of 3 members and they are appointed by
the supervisory board.
Works council: it is the direct
representation of workers in management is entrusted through works council. The
framework of works councils composed of 35 members.
