Transition model of TQM



All the TQM initiatives should be focused on customers, as customer delightment termed as key factor in this model.



Vision statement formulated, that includes: mission, objectives, goals, targets etc. The model suggests that the system component will be more prioritized than human component.

To achieve continuous improvement, in each process 5S scheme, Creativity, PDCA cycle must be adopted.

Involvement of all represents the human component. The human components of TQM includes quality, culture, attitude etc.

There includes 3 processes, P1, P2 & P3.

In P1, strategic planning, benchmarking, & long term planning are recommended. In P2, which is assurance of quality. Here preventive mechanisms, scientific method, and quality index is recommended. P3 includes performance appraisal, administrative audit and funds, and evaluation of TQM implementation process.
