and sets the mission statement. Apart from that they usually:-
Provides life to a company:- Makes decision, set policies
Select management positions:-Choose executives and
managers and set salary and compensation packages
Reporting to shareholders:-They reports to shareholders.
Provide assets and funds:-Board ensure appropriate funds
and resources to achieve their objectives
Ensures policies are being followed:-BOD ensures that
both management and staff are following their directives.
