Vector and its importance

Vector
Vector is a specific mathematical structure. It has numerous physical and geometric applications, which result mainly from its ability to represent magnitude and direction simultaneously. Vector are quite useful in simplifying problems from three-dimensional geometry. So, “A vector is a quantity or phenomenon that has two independent properties: magnitude and direction” also the term vector also denotes the mathematical or geometrical representation of such a quantity.
For example, Velocity has both speed and a direction, hence it is conveniently expressed as a vector.

The importance of vector in business mathematics
Vector is a division of mathematics involving Differentiation and Integration of vector fields in a three dimensional Euclidean space.
In business mathematics vector is important because there are wide range of application of vector exist in business mathematics such as:

#1.Geometry
#2.Mechanics
#3.Physics
#4.Describing lines
#5.Describing surfaces
#6.Describing volume
#7.Differentiation
#8.Integration

That’s why vector is important in business mathematics
