organizational context we can define power as the capacity to effort
organizational outcomes. Alternatively—
We can term power as: ‘Power is the ability of those who posses power
to bring about the outcomes they desire.’
Politics
Simply politics refers to the study of who gets what, when, and how. In
organizational context we can define politics as:
Organizational politics involve intentional acts of influence to
enhance or protect the self interest of individuals or groups.
