Ethical standards in OD



OD Practitioner and Profession:
    1. Must respect fellow professionals.
    2. Shall possess and actualize a full commitment and devotion to duty.
    3. Shall be ready to terminate services when breach of contract is eminent.
    4. Shall be responsible to professional development and competence.
OD Practitioner and Client:
    1. Shall at all times perform quality service.
    2. Shall commit to full trust and confidentiality.
    3. Must stress a process orientation to achieve results.
    4. Shall be candid, accurate and fully responsible to the client concerning  qualification, availability and other pertinent matters.
    5.  Shall accept responsibility for the consequences of actions.
    6. Shall ensure mutual agreement on a fair contract covering services and remuneration.
    7. Shall be responsive to the needs of clients and significant others.
    8. Shall respect the individual intellectual property rights of clients, other    consulting firms and sole practitioner, and will not use proprietary information or methodology without permission.
OD Practitioner and Federation:
   1. Shall be responsible to the OD Community.
   2. Must continually upgrade through research and evaluation.
   3. Must adhere to resolution of ethical issues and violations.
